Special plans have been planned for the 2020 edition of the Muscat Festival, and will feature many new activities and events to entertain locals, expats and tourists in the Sultanate.

Speaking to Times of Oman, an official from Muscat Municipality said,

“The municipality is working hard with other institutions and authorities to prepare the 2020 Muscat Festival to be more enjoyable and exciting to attract visitors among our citizens and residents, as well as tourists from outside the Sultanate, in order to promote tourism in Oman, and for the public to be acquainted with the most prominent activities and events that are part of the Sultanate.”

The Muscat Festival is scheduled to run from January 16 to February 15.

This festival will include activities and shows that have not been previously featured at the Muscat Festival, with this edition of the Muscat Festival being celebrated in such a manner to celebrate the country’s 50th National Day, and the occasion of the New Year.

A host of cultural, entertainment, heritage and sporting events will be held at the festival, which will be hosted across a number of sites.

“The Muscat Festival will be held from January 16 to February 15, and this will mark the start of the events and other activities that will last until the end of the year 2020,” said the Muscat Municipality official.
