Selling of face masks in bulk is not allowed: MoH

All private pharmacies and drug stores across the Sultanate have been asked not to sell face masks in bulk to customers to avoid shortage of the item.

The Ministry of Health sent out the circular to relevant pharmacies and wholesalers saying that they should stop selling the masks in bulk due to the complaints of shortage they have received.

“We have received complaints that some of the pharmacies are out of stock of this item. Please do not sell face masks in bulk quantity to customers, as it can lead to a shortage of the item in the local market”.
