Oman Crude Trades above $40/pb, First Time in Three Months

The Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME), the first international exchange in the Middle East for future energy contracts,

announced that the prices of Oman crude oil have witnessed remarkable growth today for the first time in three months, as it was traded at a price of 40.09 dollars per barrel.

DME indicated that this is the first global crude oil trading contract that exceeds the barrier of $40 per barrel, since the beginning of the recovery in oil prices in early May.

It is noteworthy that the price of Omani oil for the delivery of next August has reached today (39.62) USD, up by (2.12) USD.
