“We must build on those national gains that have been achieved and promote more of those ports,” said Dr Ahmed Al Futaisi.
“We must be heard at a global level, as there are three deep ports with international specifications that are located in the Sultanate of Oman dedicated to serving the world and serving a large segment of the countries surrounding us, and this should be used and promoted,” added the minister.
“In the Sultanate, the percentage of cargo and container handling in the ports increased by at least 23 percent during the first third of this year, compared to the same period in 2019,” he added.
