Five expats arrested in Oman for violations


Five expatriates were arrested in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate and violations were issued against others for not following the decisions of the Supreme Committee in charge to deal with COVID-19.

A statement issued online by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), said:

“North Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command arrests five expatriates in Al Mudhaibi, accused of practicing tailoring activities.”



“The ROP issues a group of violations against individuals for not wearing masks while they are in public places, a violation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19, in this regard,” the statement added.

In Musandam Governorate, a batch of violations were issued against individuals for not wearing masks in public places and violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee in charge of dealing with COVID-19.
