Entry restrictions in place at Al-Mawaleh Market in Oman

The Central Market for vegetables and fruits entry will restrict entry to those under the age of 12 years and allow only two people in each vehicle to enter, Muscat Municipality said on Wednesday.

A statement by the municipality said,

“The market will open between 1 pm and 6 pm and entry will be via Gate No. 2. Parking lots are available inside and outside the market and additional slots will be made available if required at the ground on the side of the market. Wholesale merchants can visit between 5am and 11am and refrigerated trucks of 3 tonnes and more should enter through Gate No. 1.”

“Muscat Municipality has published preventive measures to be followed on entering the market which are:

1.Market entry is restricted to those over the age of 12 years.

2. Only a maximum of two people are allowed in each vehicle.

3. A mask must be worn when entering the market and while moving within.

4. Physical distancing is required while shopping and commuting
