The Environment Authority with Blue water, has implemented a campaign to remove fishing nets and ropes stuck in coral reefs in the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve. The Blue water divers team removed fishing nets and ropes stuck in the coral reefs near Kasma Island in the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve.  This work comes as a continuation of the campaign to clean up the coral reef environment that is being carried out by the authority. The EA draws the attention of fishermen to the necessity of fishing with nets away from the islands to avoid the encroachment of fishing nets towards coral reef areas.
